It’s Friday and I have a million things on my to do list before I can pack up for the weekend. One of the things on my mind are these sweet little cookies for a last minute surprise baby shower. A mom acquaintance saw a few of my previous cookie pictures and asked me if I could do something for her. Although I didn’t feel comfortable writing the full name “Georgia” on the cookies because of my skill level, I felt somewhat confident that I could do a dozen simple “G” initial cookies.
For these cookies I used a corn syrup icing that will eventually harden enough so that I can package in cellophane bags and not make a sticky mess. For the piping detail I used the regular royal icing.
